Malaysia, like most other developing countries, is facing an increase in the generation of waste and accompanying problems with disposal this waste. A large number biomass wastes were generated due to increased activity agricultural agro-industrial sectors, which led producing environmental hazards management issues. On situation, energy consumption cool indoor building environment high being exposed directly solar radiation throughout daytime, increases temperature outside inside building. Most low-medium cost housing schemes constructed using metal roof covering without providing a insulation layer causes rising creates uncomfortable surroundings. Moreover, existing materials for market use inorganic synthetic that could harm human health. The study aims investigate potential production board material can provide economic value added waste, reduce issue eco-friendly, sustainable material. In study, these are combined different proportions 50% individual fibres, such as sugarcane bagasse coconut husk, empty fruit bunch mesocarp fibre, husk bunch, fibre. sample was fabricated hot-press machine went through various physical mechanical testing, involved thickness swelling, modulus rupture, thermal conductivity. finding showed mixed fibre achieved all criteria density (427 <500kg/m3); swelling (19< 20%); rupture (514<800psi), conductivity (0.0856<0.25 W/m.K) met standard requirement every laboratory test conducted. outcome suggests insulation. However, modification properties required achieve superior performance ready be provided market. This aligned government initiative growth green development construction industry.
